Cannot use Importer Custom Fields PRO to import users with custom fields

    I installed Ultimate CSV Importer and the free add-on Import Users. This allowed me to import users but not use custom fields, so I purchased Importer Custom Fields PRO, which I expected to enable me to import users, complete with custom field data.

    I now see “Importer Custom fields PRO” and “Ultimate CSV Importer Free” in my sidebar. If I try importing with Importer Custom fields PRO, I am not given the option to import users. If I use Ultimate CSV Importer Free, I do not see my custom fields. How do I get the functionality of both (importing users with custom fields)?

    I purchased it from this Smackcoders page, where it is listed as “Custom Fields Import”. It’s from within WordPress that its name is shown as “Importer Custom Fields PRO”.

    I really needed to get the site up today, so I found a workaround using Import users from CSV with meta, which is free.

    Hi,

    WP Ultimate CSV Importer – Custom Fields Import plugin cannot import users with custom fields. It can only import posts, pages, custom posts with their custom fields. You need to purchase the WP Ultimate CSV Importer Pro to get the support of users with the custom fields import.

    For pro or commercial product support please contact the author directly on their site.

    As the author is aware, commercial products are not supported in these forums. As you are their customer I am sure they will have no problem supporting you there.
