 * I am trying every possible way to upload media but every time shows this massage
   ‘
   failed to upload due to an error’ Unable to create directory /home/u479830056/
   public_html/wp-content/uploads. Is its parent directory writable by the server?
 * how to solve it.. please help me.

 * The server can’t write to the /wp-content directory because of permissions or
   ownership problems. Try _temporarily_ making the /wp-content folder writable 
   then re-try the upload. Change the permissions back on the /wp-content folder
   after wordpress creates the uploads directory.
