    Hi,

    I want to set facebook image with a png image, it gave me the “The format of the uploaded image is not supported. The supported formats are: JPG, PNG and GIF.” error.

    I tried to change an image in jpg format, I got the same result.

    Then I trun on the troubleshooting mode, and test just yoast seo and try to set the image again, it behave the same.

    So how can I fix this? Thanks

    @fei2shop We’re sorry to hear you are experiencing this issue on your site.

    We attempted to replicate this error on a test site, but unfortunately were unable to. This would indicate it’s likely due to a setting specific to your site’s environment, or due to a conflict with another plugin/theme.

    We’d first recommend testing whether this limitation on image uploads is related to your WordPress configuration settings. Can you please check your site’s wp-config.php file and check for anything limiting the file types?

    You can also configure a WordPress site to allow for any type of file upload by adding the following code to your wp-config.php file:

    define( 'ALLOW_UNFILTERED_UPLOADS', true );
