# Cannot upload a header

 * I am unable to upload a new header. I am getting the following error. I just 
   started to build my site and was able to upload a header last week without a 
   problem.

   in a recognized format in /home/content/35/7476335/html/wp-includes/media.php
   on line 254
 * Image could not be processed. Please go back and try again.

 * Are you sure you are uploading a file in a standard format (.jpg or .png) or 
   is it a proprietary format (such a a psd) – which won’t work. it is possible 
   to save a file with a different extension from the actual file type, so double
   check & resave the file from your graphics application if necessary.

 * Thank you. The header is actually a .bmp file. I will try to have the designer
   save it as a .jpg since I cannot seem to save it. I hope that will solve this
   problem.
