# Cannot Update WordPress

 * I cannot update wordpress, it keeps saying Could not resolve host: downloads.
   wordpress.org
 * And when I visit the link directly, it gives me a 404. Updated a few of my sites
   couple of days ago without issue, but now the remaining sites cannot be updated.
 * Any help?

 * Contact your webhost , might be they have curl disabled due to security purposes.
 * for time being try manual update

 * Strange, just updated some other sites on the same server and worked fine. It’s
   only a few particular sites that don’t work.
