# Cannot Update to Version 6.1.10

 * I am currently using version 6.1.8 and could not update to 6.1.9, error message
   shown:
 * Update Failed: The update cannot be installed because we will be unable to copy
   some files. This is usually due to inconsistent file permissions.
 * Now there is an update version 6.1.10 but I still received the same error message
   during the update.
 * My website is ok and Wordfence 6.1.8 is still working. All suggestions are welcome.

 * Can your hosting provider confirm that you have the correct permissions? If not,
   you can try removing Wordfence entirely and then installing version 6.1.10.
