# Cannot Update Plugin Settings

 * Hello,
 * I’m unable to update the plugin settings via Settings > Username Changer. I get
   a White Screen of Death with a bunch of Illegal Offset PHP errors:
 * > Warning: Illegal string offset ‘id’ in plugins\username-changer\vendor\widgitlabs\
   > simple-settings\class-simple-settings.php on line 698
