# Cannot update menu

 * When I try to update the menu under 3.2.1 one of two things happens: 1) the says
   it update was completed, but really didn’t; or 2) get an Internal Server error.
   Site is hosted at Media Temple and they say I am running into a CPU time limit,
   but site/menu is small.
 * This only happens when trying to update, delete or create a new menu.
 * Is anyone having a similar problem?

 * Yes, but I am getting a host not responding error. I am hosted with celeresweb.
   com. I am using PHP 5.3 and MySQL 5.04+.
 * I had read somewhere else that older versions of PHP and MySQL had exhibited 
   a similar problem.
 * I just updated to PHP 5.3, so I hope that helps, waiting on confirmation.

 * Now its just updating randomly, but not frequently. I tried creating a new menu,
   and after 20 or so elements through all levels of the menu, the updates stop 
   working.
 * Then when I try to substitute that menu for the original, I cannot save the new
   menu as the “Main Navigation Menu” for the theme.

 * Actually now the “Main Navigation Menu” change works – I just do not get any 
   confirmation or error message back. The last two comments are post PHP 5.3 update.
