# Cannot "unstick" a post

 * I cannot “unstick” a certain post. If you look at my site, [TrekWorld](http://www.trekworld.com)—
   [http://www.trekworld.com](http://www.trekworld.com) — there is a post in the
   slideshow titled “Ground Zero: The Long Walk Back.”
 * I have unchecked the sticky option in both places in the admin panel many times
   but the post continues to show up in the slideshow and NOT in the list of posts
   below the slideshow.
 * If I check “make this post sticky” again, the post shows up in both the slideshow
   and as a post below the slideshow.
 * Any ideas on how to “unstick” this post?
