# Cannot turn comments on!

 * Hi Everyone,
 * I am running Catch Theme Responsive on 4.2.2 and cannot figure out how to turn
   comments on. I have tried looking at my sidekick settings and disable comment
   settings and nothing is working.
 * I would like to only allow comments on my posts.
 * My site is sharonmcelwee.com
    Posts page is sharonmcelwee.com/blog

 * Normally that would be done at `Admin > Settings > Discussion` and checking “
   Allow people to post comments on new articles”. If that isn’t working, though,
   try asking on the [support forum for the theme](https://wordpress.org/support/theme/catch-responsive)(
   if I found the right one). I see another post there on the same topic with, so
   far, no response. Good luck!

 * If comments were previously disabled then you need to enable them manually on
   all existing posts from the post edit screen.
 * If they are still not appearing then it is a theme issue.
