# Cannot select ‘Internal’

 * When I am on the OAuth consent screen, it shows ‘External’. When I attempt to
   change to ‘Internal’ it gives me this message:
 * “Because you’re not a Google Workspace user, you can only make your app available
   to external (general audience) users. ”
 * We are using a Gmail account.
 * Any ideas?

 * Thanks for reaching out. Gmail account users should select External, it’s also
   the default. Are you having any specific issues with setting up the credentials?
