I have a wordpress install running on aspiredtechie.com with cpanel. I installed wp first with fantastico and found that none of the wordpress logo as well the icons used in the dashboard are visible. Rest all the functions were working correclty.

To check for myself, I reinstalled Wp 2nd time myself by uploading the zip file downloaded from wordpress.org, still it was the same. But in the second install the default theme’s background was too not visible. You can see it yourself at http://aspiredtechie.com

Please help with the solution of this problem.

    Thank you

    Hey sagargholap,

I would try to re-install by uplading fresh wordpress files from wordpress.org and see what will happen.

The logo on your login screen is right where it should be, but I have no suggestions about the problem…

The problem has now been resolved.

@kim09 I did that but still it didn’t work, later on after a lot of researching for solution i found that a rewrite rule in the .htaaccess didn’t allow any of the image extensions to be executed on the server because of which images weren’t visible. After deleting that one statement everything came back to normal.

@gangleri It might be possible that you saw the login page after the issue was resolved so you didn’t see the images missing.

Thank you for your involvement in this problem Kim09 and Gangleri.
