Hi @guruzz
I understand that the product images cannot be seen in the admin mode or preview mode.
Can you please temporarily switch your theme to Storefront and disable all plugins except for WooCommerce to see if that fixes the issue?
You can test this out on a staging site using a plugin like WP Staging, without affecting the main site.
This kind of problem is usually caused by a conflict with your theme or with another plugin.
The best way to determine this is to:
- Temporarily switch your theme to Storefront
- Disable all plugins except for WooCommerce
- Check if the problem persists
If you’re not seeing the same problem after completing the conflict test, then you know the problem was with the plugins and/or theme you deactivated. To figure out which plugin is causing the problem, reactivate your other plugins one by one, testing after each, until you find the one causing conflict. You can find a more detailed explanation on how to do a conflict test here.
If the above does not yield a culprit, please share with us the site’s System Status. You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”. Once you’ve done that, paste it here in your response.

Thank you very much for the prompt reply.
I followed the steps you recommended and found out that the WP-Optimize – Clean, Compress, Cache plugin is creating the problem. Can I change any settings or am I advised to use another add-on for optimization and caching?
Thanks again!
Hi @guruzz
It is great that you were able to catch the WP-Optimize – Cache, Clean, Compress plugin to be the one creating the problem.
Can I change any settings or am I advised to use another add-on for optimization and caching?
Since it is a third party plugin, we are not familiar with how it works. Moreover, providing support for third party plugins is beyond the scope of support provided on this forum. As your next step, we recommend reaching out to the plugin’s author or helpdesk and report the issue, as they would be more familiar with the settings and configuration of their plugin. You can submit a support request here: https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/wp-optimize/
If the problem cannot be solved by their team, then you may want to consider looking for alternative solutions. You can explore the options through this link: https://www.google.com/search?q=alternatives+of+WP-Optimize
I hope you find this information helpful.
Thanks
