# Cannot save XML File

 * Error: Could not save marker XML file (/usr/path/public_html/wp-content/uploads/
   wp-google-maps/1markers.xml) for Map ID 1
 * I recently migrated my wordpress site, and now the XML file is not saving. I 
   have tried changing permission for the folder using FTP, but the WP Google Maps
   settings is telling me that this folder does not exist.
 * Could you please advise?

    Yup 🙂 If you migrated, please make sure that the Marker XML Dir and Marker
   XML URL are correct in the Maps->Settings page?

 * Of course! Very silly of me. I’ve updated the URL, so the error message doesn’t
   appear, but for some reason the marker isn’t showing on the map now. I had set
   it to bounce previously, and now nothing appears/happens…

 * Oops, apologies, but it seems like the original problem actually isn’t fixed.
   You were right, I hadn’t updated the URL, but now that I have, I’m still getting
   the message “This folder does not exist. Please create it.” for the XML directory.
