    Hi,

thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

The reason for this might be some sort of conflict, e.g. with the JavaScript of another plugin.
If possible, I’d like to take a direct look at this. Can you please contact me via email with details to your site? (The address is in the main plugin file “tablepress.php”.)

    Thanks!
    Tobias

    Hi,

Salomon: Sorry to hear that you are also having trouble with this. Can you please contact me via email, as described above?

horus: I’ve replied to your email yesterday already. Did you maybe not receive it? I’d like to take a direct look at this on your site, if possible.

    Regards,
    Tobias

Preview also changed behavior. It now opens a second window/tab.
NB These changes were not present on another site with a similar mix of plugins.

    Hi,

thanks for the update. That also indicates that something is interfering with the JavaScript.
I’d really need to take a direct look at this on your site, to be able to debug this and find the cause. Can you please create a temporary admin account for me, as mentioned in my email reply?

    Regards,
    Tobias

It might be a Firefox problem. Savings tables works in Internet Explorer, not in Firefox (18.0.1).

Java Plugin 7 update 11 was blocked in Firefox. Could that disable the Save button?

    Hi,

just as an update for everybody: I have checked this out directly on horus79’s site, but could not reproduce the issue. It seems to be a problem with Firefox indeed.

horus: I don’t think that the Java plugin could do this, but just to be sure (and because Java in general is very insecure, I recommend that you uninstall Java entirely, via the Windows control panel, unless of course you need it for some programs on your computer).

Problem solved. The Pocket (Read Later) Extension (3.0.1) in Firefox (18.0.1) disabled the Save changes function in Tablepress.

    Hi,

technically, it’s more like that the Pocket Extension somehow interferes with the JavaScript code, by somehow creating a conflict. The result is of course the same.
Until we find a definite reason, I therefore recommend to deactivate Pocket when working in WordPress with Firefox there.

    Best wishes,
    Tobias

    Hi,

as mentioned above, you can find my email address in the main plugin file “tablepress.php”.

It is not necessarily a browser issue in your case, but more likely a JavaScript conflict with another plugin or the theme.

    Regards,
    Tobias
