# Cannot save pages

 * Hi,
 * I have just edited a page and when I click “Save” I get the following error…
 * “Not Found”
 * “Sorry, but you are looking for something that isn’t here.”
 * The changes I make don’t save either.
 * Help! Thank you!

 * I changed the site’s theme and it saves but when I look onto the site I get…

 * I just tried to edit the page again using the default theme and I get the following
   error: Error 404 – Not Found.
 * Basically I can’t edit and save pages without an error!

 * I had similar problems:
 * I’d changed my site’s url, restored the database, and then wasn’t able to save/
   edit pages or posts (it just went to the site homepage with no changes made)
 * This .htaccess fix in wp-admin did the trick for me, and it’s working again:
