Cannot save a post properly

    Hi. I cannot save posts on my blog properly and I’m not sure why. It takes like 5 minutes to save a post. Sometimes it’ll take me to a 404 page. Sometimes it doesn’t save, and sometimes it just hangs. If I’m lucky then it’ll save

    How do I fix this?
    Just upgraded to 2.6 by the way, was on 2.5.2 before

    I am having the same problem. When I type the title of the new post, the auto-draft is saved properly and shows up in Drafts. But when I type the blog post itself and try to save it, the page spins forever and the post is never saved.

    This happens in IE 7, Firefox (Win) and Firefox (Mac).

    I am on WordPress 2.6.3.

    I’ve done the following steps:
    – converted my categories to tags
    – changed the domain settings to domain.com rather than http://www.domain.com
    – added an .htaccess on the wp-admin directory

    So far, nothing is working. I cannot post to the blog at all.

    OK, found a solution.

    Do the provided .htaccess change in the root directory. Worked for me.
