# Cannot replace custom avatar image

 * Hello,
 * Users on our site are not able to replace their avatars. When a user goes to 
   his edit profile page and uploads an avatar it does not replace the current avatar.
   After uploading the avatar the page shows “User updated.” message at the top 
   but the avatar image does not change.

 * Hi there,
 * Same problem here, I placed the shortcode in the profile page created by Theme
   My Login ([https://wordpress.org/plugins/theme-my-login/](https://wordpress.org/plugins/theme-my-login/)),
   but no luck when trying to upload a new image, even though the operation goes
   through with a success message.
