Hi @nblund,
As Complianz scans the cookies set in your browser, it is possible it picks up cookies which were installed previously, but are not active anymore.
On the cookie scan page you can use the “clear cookies” option. Then also clear your browsercache to make sure all cookies are cleared.
If you then run a new cookie scan, these cookies won’t appear again if they aren’t used on your site anymore.
Let me know if that helps.

Hi there. Thanks. Unfortunately, something is still not right? I scanned three times – the first two times no cookies were found. The third time the following cookies were identified:
Cookies on your own domain
WP_DATA_USER_1
tablesorter-savesort
csUIPreferences
wp-api-schema-modelhttps://nblund.com/wp-json/wp/v2/
topee_tabId
complianz_policy_id

wp-wpml_current_language
__stripe_mid
wp-settings-1
wp-settings-time-1
wordpress_test_cookie
cmplz_marketing
_ga

Plus third-party:
Google reCAPTCHA
Google Fonts
As you can see. Woocommerce, Stripe, and Google Analytics remain. But I don’t seem to find them in my configuration. Exactly which domains / folders does Complianz scan? I really don’t recall ever having tested / installed Woocommerce, for example, on this domain… Thanks.
Hi @nblund,
Could you confirm that you cleared all cookies from your browser before issuing a new cookiescan? If you did, please walk through these steps:
1. in the Complianz wizard, navigate to Cookies -> Statistics and make sure that you have indicated that you are not collecting statistics on your site with Google Analytics.
2. Click save on the bottom right and, in the same section, navigate to cookie scan. Click ‘clear cookies’. Then issue a new scan.
If you are not using these services on your site, the scan should not pick them up (anymore).
Kind regards,
Leon
Hi @nblund,
Did this work out for you?
Let me know:)

Hi there. I am sorry, but no, I didn’t work out. Google Analytics and Stripe are still listed despite the attempts suggested in the above. Any other suggestions? Thanks.
Hi @nblund,
There must be a very persistent cookie somewhere, could you try an incognito window – clear cookies. Visit the website, go back to the cookie scan, and start the scan.
If the cookies remain, please share your plugin list. We can’t find what’s not there.

Hi there. So this time the scan showed no Stripe and GA cookies. Not sure what’s going on. I will follow it closely and revert if something strange happens again. Thanks for your help.
