Cannot preview post cannot comment

    I set up the site http://www.filmnanting.se recently but for some reason I cannot preview any post I make, the post still gets made though. And no one can comment. I just get a page not found.

    The only thing I have done is to add one of those free wordpress themes.

    Content is chmodded to 777 as a test but still does not work.

    Is it a .htaccess error?

    This is really annoying me.

    I’d say your Permalinks aren’t working. Check that link for troubleshooting tips. If you change Permalinks back to Default do your links then work?

    I would agree.

    But now how do I fix it?

    The .htaccess will not update via wordpress even if I have it at chmod 777 so I entered the code manually and it still will not work.

    http://www.filmnanting.se/2010/01/nu-har-vi-antligen-en-blogg/ is the style I picked but is not showing up.

    Where would this get saved? In the database? What needs to be chmodded? Maybe I should try chmodding everything to 777 for a trial run?

    Edit: Chmodding it all to 777 did absolutely nothing 🙂

    Is your server running Apache or IIS? If Apache, you might confirm with your host that mod_rewrite and AllowOverride are both on and enabled.

    If IIS, you have other challenges ahead… you might visit the Permalinks page and read up on “almost pretty” Permalinks.
