Cannot post or create page, only for review

    I cannot post or update posts or pages after a new wordpress installation and an import from a tumblr site

    ( via Tumblr2WordPress: Export Your Tumblr To WordPress http://haochen.me/tumblr/ first I made the file through this site and after that I imported via the option ‘Install the WordPress importer to import posts, pages, comments, custom fields, categories, and tags from a WordPress export file.’ )

    I can only post for review, while I am the only user and of course I am admin.
    What happened? And how can I fix it?

    Actually I just found out I cannot even submit the post for review, I get a page that says: You are not allowed to edit this post.
    Can it be something in my permissions? I don’t think so myself but…?

    I deceided to do a complete new installation again, so I resolved it partly like that…

    I am having the same issue. Were you able to fix the problem by restoring your database? Are you sure it happened because of the tumblr import? My blog was working fine until I imported from tumblr.

    I had to do a complete new wordpress installation to resolve the problems…
    After that everything worked fine again.
    I’m sure it had to do with the tumblr import and unfortunately I didn’t find a solution to import it again in a good way, I simply didn’t import it again.

    If you do figure out how to import from tumblr the right way, can you post it here?
