# Cannot post

 * I use Socrates theme with the latest version of WordPress. When i try to publish
   post, after writing the content what i see instead of publish is submit for review
   and my post won’t go through. Please i need help and what could be the possible
   cause to this and what is the solution to this.

 * Have you tried deactivating your plugins and switching to the default theme to
   see if it’s a plugin or theme issues?
 * If so, reverse your steps one by one to see what’s causing it.
 * If it’s the theme, have you asked the developers of the theme?

 * It sounds to me like the account you are using is not allowed to publish and 
   your content has to be reviewed by an editor, administrator or super admin (see
   [Roles and Capabilities](http://codex.wordpress.org/Roles_and_Capabilities)).
   You should login with higher privileges.
