this is an intermittment issue but a pain when it happens! Today I was typing a new blog post and walked away and when I came back the error “safari can’t load the page….cannot parse response” (NSURLErrorDomain:-1017) What the heck does that mean?

I posted my url to my home page but again this doesn’t show up all the time, and in fact it seems to be on the back end when I’m using Divi builder and trying to save (quite often) or when creating a WP post.. I don’t know where to start but trying to reach out here for some guidance…an applediscussion thread from 2016 suggests that ‘ESET’ products for anti-virus/malware were causing it…and since wordfence is a similar product for ‘defense’ against intrusions, I thought I’d post here.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hi @bstharp
This looks like a very specific browser error message that I never heard from other Wordfence users’ -using the same browser- that they encountered this issue before. However, you could -temporarily- disable Wordfence plugin and re-check this issue to make sure about that.

    Thanks.

Thank you Wfalaa, I will try that and see whether I get the issue again. It may take a few days to determine this as it has been intermittent, but I’ll let you know what I find out!
