I use SBC Yahoo DSL and Internet Explorer. Are there any prerequsites that I’m missing? Thanks for any help! I’m truly lost! Windows should unzip it without further ado. I was able to unzip the file by downloading the trial version of WinRAR and installing it. * However, I’m not quite sure what to do next. What I see before me in the opened file of “wordpress-1[1].5.1.3.zip – WinRAR (evaluation copy)” is “Add”, “Extract to”, “Test”, “View”, “Delete”, etc….. Please help! * Bottom line: I would like to start a personal blog. That will give you an explorer-like tree setup, where you can select where you want to store the extracted wordpress files. I usually make a folder under Program Files for something like this in the beginning, so navigate to Program Files, and make a folder named WordPress, then in the Extract Files screen, navigate to that folder (the path will appear at the top of winrar in that address bar), and click OK.
