# cannot login to wp/wp-login.php

 * I have 3 websites and as of this morning I cannot log in to any of them.
    I go
   to domainname/wp/wp-login.php as usual and I get a page with the website header
   and the **Error 404 – Not Found** message. I called my hosting company and they
   said it is an issue with the login not connecting to wordpress for verification.
   any ideas?

 * Where is your sites hosted? There have been brute force attacks on many servers
   today with many people reporting login problems – but it is likely a server/host
   problem.

 * Yes – it’s a server/host issue. This is happening to many, many servers and hosting
   companies. You need to contact your hosting company – they are the ones who have
   closed your access so that the servers do not get hacked (hopefully).

 * OK I’ve got access again now and I checked with Hosting Bay and they have changed
   nothing.
