  • Hi ldoylemcse. If you click the first link in the page that your link above brings up, your site is still intact, so that’s a good sign. You could try logging on to your host and renaming those two plugin folders to disable the plugins. If that doesn’t fix it then you may need to modify your htaccess and/or wp-config.php files to remove the code added by the plugins. Hope that helps.

Thank you very much! I will do as you suggest and let you know.

Yes it did work! Thank you. How do you suggest I remove it from there now? Simply delete it from the file manager or do it in plugins in admin panel? It is renamed so I assume the plugins removal will not work. Thank you again.

Glad you are able to get back on. So, we know that there is a problem with the configuration of one or both of the plugins, or maybe just when they’re used together. The configuration information is still in the database. If you’ve decided on using these plugins for your site security, I’d pick one of them and rename the plugin folder back to the original name, then see if you can log on. If not, rename that one and rename the other one to the original name, and try to log on. Whichever one activates successfully, work to get that one stable. I’d do some research on the plugin forums, search Google for configuration articles, etc. Get that one lined out so you know it’s working correctly. Then, if you think you need another layer, you can try bringing up the other plugin or a different one. Or, if you’ve decided against both of those plugins, I’d get another one going first; that’s more important than trying to figure out what went wrong with the others. Then you can either try and reactivate the others and remove them from the plugin panel, or just delete the plugin folders. Hope that helps.
