  • Hello Experts,

    I got fresh installed wordpress in my own hosting account. First i tried deleting all the files in the default directory then copy installer to that directory then installed wordpress. I don’t know if this causes that i cannot login to admin area because i happen to delete some important files in there? When i try to login inserting the correct password and username it simply does nothing like there is no files that is processing my login request. Anybody who know how to restore the files in there, need help. Thanks.

    I mean that default directory i mention is the directory of my hosting account.

  • Hello Erick,
    Lets think:
    * You deleted all the files on public_html using cpanel file manager or ftp program
    * You uploaded wordpress file name on public_html
    * Extracted
    * Provided information regarding database, website, user, password,.. and wordpress installed successfully

    But, now you can’t login!!!

    Why don’t you:
    1. Check your database if using old or previous one.
    2. If you believe some files are missing copy and replace wp-admin and wp-includes using ftp program or file manager from cpanel.
    3. try again eg:

    Hello Shekhar, thanks for your reply

    I’m pretty much sure i deleted all the files on public_html using filemanager.

    I don’t think i happen to change any system files on wordpress because i already re install it using built-in script and still can’t login.

    Dataase is not a problem i check it several times password and username is intact and errorfree.

    My suspicious are the files on public_html that i have deleted do you have any hints on how to restore them? Thanks again…..
