So, I am reparing to launch a small indie game review website as portfolio for my internship next semester.
For that purpose I registered my own domain today and was just busy with setting up my domain as my linkadress (& working with SEO), when wordpress threw me out of my admin panel.
I tried to login again, but failed. I tried to reset my password, but had already changed my email to @myowndomain (that still wasn't working at that time) instead of keeping it to my usual adress. Stupid, i know.
I then logged into myPhPadmin, changed the email and password and tried to log in - but it failed, again.
When I insert the new password, I am just transferred back to the login screen. When I reset my password and click on the reset-key that comes via email, I get a "invalid key" page.
Some things I already checked:
- It has nothing to do with the > at the end of the reset-link in the email, I deleted them
- I clicked and copypasted the link in my browser
Primar problem is
that I cannot reset my password via email
and if I do it via myPhPadmin, I still can't login because I'm getting a re-direct without explaination.
Could it have something to do with the implementation of my own domain?
