  • Also, when I use my username rather than my email to login, I get a message that tells me it is an invalid username; however, when I can successfully get the forgot password link to work, my email message from WordPress to change the password sends my username that it just told me was invalid:

Someone recently requested that the password be reset for kmckteeter.

I just cannot get in. 🙁

It looks like a MOJO Marketplace install, so it should have asked you to create a password before it installed. Are you 100% sure you entered the exact email and PW combo? If you cannot access it, I would suggest calling Bluehost.

Firstly, how did you reset the password?
    1. Have you gone through to reset it?

I am asking this due to your statement that you were able to log in if you go to this link and org are different things (though they are alike).

If you wanna reset the password, you need to go to

There is a lost password there, just follow the instructions and this will let you reset the password. Once reset, you can just get back to to log in to your dashboard.

If you have reset the password that way, you may look for another option by reading this forum below,

    Thank you.

Before I try to reset my password at the link you gave me, I wanted to post the results so far. I tried all three passwords, the original and the two new. None worked.

Then I noticed that when I had copied and pasted the link, I got redirected to

    Is that normal?

Kieth Driscoll, that is what I thought too. The first time I needed a password to get in, I checked my list where I had written down passwords, and WordPress wasn’t there. I thought that maybe I had forgotten to write it down, but I didn’t install WordPress. BlueHost did it over the phone because I had called to cancel with BlueHost within a few minutes of signing up because I became concerned that I was going to have to purchase a framework and child theme and all of the plugins, etc.

I may need to go back to BlueHost.

    Yes, it is normal.

About not able to log in after resetting. Change the password instead by going into the database (using phpmyadmin). Read the link below for the instructions.

Thank you. I am working on that now. Hopefully, I will have good news to report.

This is the link I used, and it worked. At least, when I went to my site, it prompted for a login, and when I entered the new password I had just used on the phpmyadmin page, I was successfully logged in.

I know this won’t help those of you who host your own website, but for those who wander in here looking for help with as I did, I hope it does help you.

It seems that when bluehost installed wordpress for me, we skipped the create a wordpress account step, so I never had a password. Bluehost got me in with a temporary password and gave me the above link to change it.

Hi.I need help please. I have a similar but a bit different problem. I cannot access my WordPress admin login.
When I try to do Admin login from My Installs, this is what I get and I cannot access it:
An appropriate representation of the requested resource could not be found on this server. This error was generated by Mod_Security.

The site isn’t launched yet as I’m still working on it. I was working on it 9 hours ago, and it was okay. Now I cannot access it. Please give simple instructions as I am not a techie person.
