# Cannot log-in

 * I cannot log-in to my dashboard, have tried to get a new password and no email
   comes through to me. I can log in to wordpress.org and my website is prmes.com.
   
   I am not tech-savvy and have always just used prmes.com/wp-admin which brought
   me to my login page and now it will not accept my password, have tried multiple
   attempts to reset password and all I get is a new password that puts me into 
   wordpress.org forums, it will not work to get me to my dashboard. Igt worked 
   a month ago and then I upgraded and have not logged in since, not sure what to
   do or whom to contact, any help for a non-programming, non-tech person is appreciated.
   There is nothing wrong with my website, but I simply cannot access my dashboard
   to make edits and cannot log-in to my WordPress dashboard.

 * Try [manually resetting your plugins](https://codex.wordpress.org/FAQ_Troubleshooting#How_to_deactivate_all_plugins_when_not_able_to_access_the_administrative_menus.3F)(
   no Dashboard access required). If that resolves the issue, reactivate each one
   individually until you find the cause.
 * If that does not resolve the issue, access your server via [FTP or SFTP](https://codex.wordpress.org/FTP_Clients),
   navigate to `/wp-content/themes/` and rename the directory of your currently 
   active theme. This will force the default theme to activate and hopefully rule-
   out a theme-specific issue (theme functions can interfere like plugins).
 * Error Related to Plugin or Theme Conflict
 * Try deactivating all plugins. If that resolves the issue, reactivate each one
   individually until you find the cause.
 * If that does not resolve the issue, try switching to the default theme for your
   version of WordPress to rule-out a theme-specific issue (theme functions can 
   interfere like plugins).

 * I’m having the same issue, and none of the above has helped. Resetting the plug-
   ins made no difference, nor did it prove to be theme-specific.
 * Any more ideas?
