 * Hello all! Im very new to this community but not new to the internet and coding
   world. Actually Im about 3 hours old in this WordPress world!
 * I have downloaded a few themes (Pixeled and iNove) and Im right into now. However
   when I click on the Theme Options to edit them I get stuck with the
 * “Cannot load functions.php.”
 * error just on a white background. The functions.php documents are in the folders
   for the themes so Im kind of at a loss for whats going on here. I can’t even
   edit the Default or Classic themes using this button. Am I missing something?
   It feels like a cruel joke!
 * Any help would be great.

 * what version of wordpress are you using? you tagged this as 2.6, is that correct?
 * I looked at 2.7 and if you are using that, your error isnt being generated by
   the wordpress core files.
 * Try disabling any plugins you have activated and seeing if that doesnt fix it.

 * I am using 2.7 my mistake.
    I disabled the one plugin I had but no luck.

 * I’m having the same issue. WP 2.7.1, theme is WordPress Default (same error with
   Coogee theme, which is the theme I want to use).
 * i’m also not able to launch the theme editor. Error message is: Sorry that file
   cannot be edited.
 * I’d appreciate any guidance. I have never had to change the CHMOD on my files
   but I did try and gave the theme-editor.php 775 but that didn’t fix it.

 * Try chmodding the wp-content/themes folder to 755 or 777.

 * The themes folder is at 755 and it still doesn’t work. I don’t want it at 777
   due to security.
    Any other ideas? Is this a 2.7.1 bug? I’m thinking of installing
   an older version of WP just to move on.
