Cannot load Constructor as a theme

  • Hi – After uploading Constructor into wordpress, I have Constructor appearing as one of the themes available. However when clicking on the image to select it the following error occurs. Is this a user error or something wrong with the actual file. I’m not very technical so be great to get a simple response!

    Fatal error: Call to undefined function body_class() in /home/lisah74/public_html/wp-content/themes/constructor/header.php on line 21

    @aravindajith

    seems you are using WordPress 2.6.3.
    body_class() function works only in WordPress 2.8 and later versions

    Either you have to update WordPress or just get rid of the body_class() function from header.php

    To get rid of body_class() function, you have to openheader.php and find <body> tag. There must be a hook for body_class() function inside the tag <body <?php body_class(); ?>>

    Just remove <?php body_class(); ?> and save the file. You are done.
    Remember, it might affect some CSS styling. It’s better to stay updated.

    Thanks!
