Cannot install WP Super Cache 1.1

Hi,
After installing WP Super Cache 1.1, there’s an error message “The package could not be installed. PCLZIP_ERR_BAD_FORMAT (-10) : Invalid archive structure”

Is there a problem with the PHP version number?
