Cannot install The Events Calendar plugin

    Hello,

    When I try to install the zip file, I get the following error message:

    the-events-calendar.5.16.4.zip
    Something went wrong!

    Using Elementor with the Astra Theme.

    Any help?

    When I try to install the zip file, I get the following error message: Something went wrong!

    That’s usually a folder permission error on your plugins folder or available space issues on your server.

    Have you tried uploading the plugin via FTP?

    You’ll need to check your FTP credentials directly with your hosting server, then you can follow the steps available at https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/k/using-ftp/.

    Guga,

    Thanks for the prompt reply. Even though I got the error message, the plugin was installed, and I am able to add events, etc.

    Questions:

    (1) How do I add my Events to an Elementor page (other than the default Archive page)?
    (2) Can I add a search by Event Category (i.e., an Event Category drop-down)?
    (3) How do I get the Calendar view to show the event titles? Right now, the Calendar only shows dots for the events.
    (4) When I hover over an event on the Calendar, isn’t it supposed to show a large tooltip, with the event’s Featured Image?

    I figured out the answers to all 4 of my questions, so I am closing this ticket.
