# Cannot install plugins

 * **When trying to install a plugin, I get this error:**
 * Installing Plugin from uploaded file: td-social-counter.zip
    Unpacking the package…
 * Installing the plugin…
 * Could not create directory. /home5/habschro/public_html/wp-content/plugins/td-
   social-counter/
 * Plugin install failed.
 * **When I try to install it via the theme I get this error:**
 * Downloading install package from [http://habschronicle.com/wp-content/themes/Newsmag/includes/plugins/js_composer.zip…](http://habschronicle.com/wp-content/themes/Newsmag/includes/plugins/js_composer.zip…)
   
   Unpacking the package… Installing the plugin… Plugin install failed. Plugin activation
   failed. An error occurred while installing Visual Composer: Plugin file does 
   not exist.. All installations and activations have been completed.
