Cannot Install Plugin

Trying to install the plug-in but it says that it is already installed;

Installing the plugin…

Destination folder already exists. /home/ridingforward/public_html/wp-content/plugins/facebook/

Plugin install failed.

There is no directory for it under my plug-ins to activate it or anything. Cannot find out how to remove it to start fresh either.
