Support » Networking WordPress » Cannot Install Packaged Plugins That Came With Theme

  • Hello,

I just configured the Multisite Network on a fresh WP install on my site. I also uploaded a third party theme I purchased. The problem I’m having is that I can not install the packaged plugins that came with the theme. It does not work from a site dashboard (permissions) and it does not show up as an option from the network admin.

When I try and install from a site dashboard: 1. I click on the third party’s custom sidebar “install packaged plugins”, 2. Takes me to packaged plugins page. 3. Install plugin: “You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page.”

As the network admin, the custom sidebar options from the theme developer are not there. Any ideas?

  • Have you tried contacting the Theme Developer of your purchased theme about this issue?

As well, check out the ‘changing file permissions‘ page via Codex as that could be the answer to your “sufficient permissions” issue.
