  • That sounds like you have a folder called jetpack in your wp-content/plugins folder.

Pop on via FTP and remove the folder and it’s contents.

Eek, I’m not sure what that means – I have the address of where it says it’s installed – /home3/knittiq1/public_html/wp-content/plugins/jetpack/ – but can’t figure out how to remove it. If you can offer any more guidance I would greatly appreciate it!

You would have to use a FTP program or shell program to navigate to the /home3/knittiq1/public_html/wp-content/plugins/ folder and remove the jetpack folder.

A half borked installed is probably there blocking the way.

Since you havn’t understood my first post. You must have used a Control Panel auto installer?
The control panel should have a File Manager type link and from there you can navigate thru your site to the above directory and remove the jetpack folder.

You may wish to drop me a line on my contact form for a quick paid support solution.

Thanks so much Barry! I was able to find the folder from my cpanel. Really appreciate the help! 🙂

No problem! Glad to be of help! Don’t forget to mark this as solved if you can!
