Hi,
Are you using it on a Windows server?
Had a similar issue here. Couldn’t update the plugin from the dashboard. Temporarily solved by deleting the plugin and manually installing version 2.4.8.
Working locally on a WAMP configuration.
I assume the following files in my local environment are causing the error due to too long filenames:
[D:/WampDeveloper/Websites/www.xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.dev/webroot/cms/wp-content/plugins/fetch-tweets/include/library/admin-page-framework/factory/AdminPageFramework_Factory/utility/AdminPageFramework_WPUtility/AdminPageFramework_WPUtility_SiteInformation.php]
[D:/WampDeveloper/Websites/www.xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.dev/webroot/cms/wp-content/plugins/fetch-tweets/include/library/admin-page-framework/factory/AdminPageFramework_Factory/utility/AdminPageFramework_WPUtility/AdminPageFramework_WPUtility_SystemInformation.php]
Thanks for your help
Ron
@zomooij So you are using a Windows server.
It looks like due the limitation of 256 path character length of Windows. There is a reported issue for the WordPress core development. In order to avoid getting that error, you may shorten this part D:/WampDeveloper/Websites/www.xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.dev/webroot
by renaming the directories.
