I can’t seem to get current-post-ancestor to work as outlined in this tutorial: http://designisphilosophy.com/tutorials/highlight-current-page-or-category/
My site is not currently live so I can’t provide a link, but here is the CSS my menu uses: http://pastebin.com/wX4GHujK and here is the PHP: http://pastebin.com/teVm1aRv
Basically I think it’s unaltered original code (I’m using a child theme for Origin).
When I add the post ancestor wrapper anywhere in my CSS it is ignored by the website. However, I looked at the page source and the menu does use the “current-post-ancestor” wrapper.
What am I missing and how to fix this, please?
P.S. A side issue: I also tried to add a margin-bottom to current menu items but that didn’t work, either. I could get them to underline but that looks rather ugly.
