    Same problem as this: https://wordpress.org/support/topic/hide-title-not-working/

    I have not changed the ticker for a long time. I updated to 2.1.6 on April 11. Just added a new ticker today and the ticker title can no longer be switched off.

    The ticker is called ‘Henley Regatta’. Global Settings for the ticker has Display Title unticked yet the title is now displayed. It didn’t before 2.1.6.

    See this screenshot for the problem.

    If Inline Title is also unticked, Henley Regatta (the ticker title) appears centred and the ticker runs underneath, messing up the header. (Which is of course desired behaviour for the title – apart from ignoring the fact that Display Title is not ticked!)

    I am displaying the ticker via the widget. The theme has the ability to add custom widget areas and the Ditty widget is loaded into the ‘ticker’ widget area that is added to the header. Display Ticker Title? is also not ticked in the widget.

    I have managed to switch off the ticker title by

    /* Ditty News */
    .mtphr-dnt-title {
    	display: none;
    }

    but that surely is not the way to do this? Use DevTools to verify this CSS fix.

    Please can you fix whatever has changed in 2.1.6 so that Display Title works again?
