Cannot get rid of plugin and password

    My site should be online but I still cannot get rid of the plugin.
    It keeps asking me the old password.

    I tried to reinstall it and put new settings but the old settings are still there

    Are you trying to remove the password protection? You should just be able to disable the plugin?

    i have this same issue. deactivated and removed plugin, but password page persists.

    It took many days and finally is gone. I had real issues with my client.
