Just downloaded the Ditty plugin and when I go to set it to default or HTML it just spins when trying to save. Also if I try to create a template, and click on save, it comes up with an message that says ‘Whoops, something went wrong’ but with nothing that says what is wrong. I cannot seem to find anything else that I need to setup. Any idea what I am doing wrong?

I’m sorry you are running into issues. It sounds like there’s some issue happening when the Editor tries to communicate with the API.

Can you let me know what user role you are? I wonder if maybe custom custom user permissions didn’t save correctly.

It’s possible there could be some other conflict as well. If you’re able to run through the following article it can help me track down the source of the issue: https://www.metaphorcreations.com/article/general/plugins/test-plugin-conflicts/

I have Super-Admin status for my site. You statement though about the API might lead me to an issue I have had with other plugins in the past. I will check with my dev team to take a look at that issue. Thank you

Chris – I just release an update that should provide a little more detail with any error notifications you receive. Once you update, it’s possible you may still receive “‘Whoops, something went wrong”, but there are more specific errors built in now, so that will still help narrow it down a bit.

Let me know if anything changes after updating. Thanks!

Version 3.1.12 has resolved some possible issues with the API.
