    I’m trying to add the Access Code but everytime I go through the steps of authorizing the plugin to access my GA account the tab (in Chrome) with the code flashes by and then disappears. When I reopen the tab Google gives me a 404 error.

    Then I recorded the screen and stopped the replay on when I saw the Access Code. I keyed it in but it still didn’t work. When I look at the debug screen the only notes there are related to when I keyed in the Access Code. Prior to that – nothing shows.

    I’m logged into GA and can navigate and see my properties fine. I’ve cleared caches and logged out of the website and logged back in. Nothing seems to work.

    Try to disable all your browser extensions or use an Incognito/Private window of your browser during authorization.

    Multiple users reported it before, there a few browser extensions interfering with the process.

    For me, the culprit causing this problem was the “Nimbus Screenshot & Screen Video Recorder” extension.

    Hi Alin & Jeff, Sorry, the notification emails were lost in my spam folder. I opted to switch to another plugin primarily because I wanted to use GTM instead. But thank you for taking the time to respond!
