    Hi Pazzaglia,
check the wording of the import menu, once it’s uninstalled the option will change to say “Install the ….”.

Does the “Blogger importer” still exist in the “Installed Plugins” list when you go back to that screen?

I’m surprised that this would block other installs, specifically what plugin is causing you incompatibilities with?

Thanks so much for taking the time to answer.

I’m trying to install the SEO Importer

I un-installed, deleted and confirmed that the Woredpress Blogger importer was out of the directory.

Then I installed SEO Blogger to WordPress:

According to the directions of that plug-in. Once installed, then I should click on Import, then Blogger and their interface should come-up. Instead WordPress begs me to install its importer.

    Here is a screen shot:

The SEO Blogger to WordPress plugin does 2 things.
    1) It provides redirection from the blogger blog to the wordpress site
    2) It provides an image import facility.

Looking at the code and instructions there is nothing there that replaces the blogger importer. It’s simply that the screenshots at for the authentication steps little out of date, otherwise the process should work fine.

Ok, I figured it out. I have egg on my face! The two plug-ins are SUPPOSED to work together. Didn’t see that written anywhere and was convinced that I had to un-install the wordpress importer to activate the SEO importer!!!

    Thank you for your reply!
