Cannot find server after activating or deactivating plugins

  • Has anyone else had this problem? Every time I do an upgrade I have problems activating and deactivating plugins. I click on the deactivate or activate link, it hangs for a very long time and finally times out. Then my browser can’t connect to my host server for about 10 minutes – I refresh every couple minutes and it finally appears. At that point I have to redo the same plugin, as nothing was changed. It has happened every upgrade, including tonight’s upgrade to 2.2. It’s very random, no particular plugin, but it happens to 3 or 4 plugins. So what should be a 15 minute upgrade ends up being two hours.

    How frustrating!
