Cannot find/edit product variations from the backend/edit product
-
Hi, I’m facing an issue, where I cannot see or edit the variations that I added to my products. I tried deactivating all the plugins and switched to the storefront theme but the error is still there.
For your better understanding here is a screenshot of the issue I’m facing: https://prnt.sc/WO1vTxio08R3

Hi, thanks for your quick response. I did make a few changes prior to this issue. They are:
1. I updated themes, plugins, and the WordPress version to its latest, as none of them were updated for a long time. (I got clumsy about the maintenance sorry for that).
2. I used an image optimization plugin to optimize all the images and improve speed.
3. I used a speed optimization plugin to speed up my website.
Please Note: The plugins used for image and speed optimization are no longer on the website.
Here is the system report: https://gist.github.com/testkid1/4aa0f9d3bc4444889783709696fd2e70and the error log: https://gist.github.com/testkid1/386848b7ba6f6614734f0cee536521f9

Hi @testkid ,
Thanks for providing additional clarity, as well as the SSR and error log.
WP Memory Limit: 77 MBAs per your SSR, I am able to see that your site does not meet the minimum server requirements, as we recommend a WP Memory Limit of 256MB or higher.
Please refer to the WooCommerce Server Requirements documentation.
Additionally, please see the below support guide on how to increase your WP Memory Limit:
If you do not feel comfortable making these changes yourself, you can reach out to your host. They should be able to help you out with this
Also, let’s see if some server changes make any difference:
PHP Post Max Size: 6 MB: Can you bump it up to 128 MBMax Upload Size: 64 MB: Can you bump it up to 128 MBPHP Max Input Vars: 1000: Can you bump it up to 3000
Your host should be able to help you out with the above value changes as well.
With regards to the error message you provided, it indicates an issue related to the WordPress SEO Premium plugin (Yoast SEO Premium), I’d suggest reaching out to their support on how to resolve this particular error.
Here is a direct link to their support page.
Let us know how this goes!
Thank you, I’ll make these changes and update you if the issue is fixed.
Hi @testkid ,
That sounds like a plan!
We’ll be here should the issue persist after making those changes 🙂
Cheers!
Hi, sorry It took longer than expected. I reached out to my hosting provider and they said they don’t provide support regarding the changes you asked me to make. Anyway, I made the changes, and since you told me that there are some issues regarding the Yoast SEO plugin I contacted them with the error log and waiting for their reply. In the meantime, I deactivated the Yoast plugin and checked but unfortunately, the issue is still there. I also received a complaint from my customers that they are unable to make payments while purchasing. the payment sidebar is loading for a long time.
Hi @testkid ,
I’m sorry to hear that you are still facing this issue!
Can you see if deactivating and then reactivating WooCommerce makes any difference?
If not, can you try deleting WooCommerce, downloading a fresh copy here, and then installing this?
Just to add – deleting the WooCommerce plugin will not affect your WooCommerce data in any way, all orders, customers, etc will still be there once WooCommerce has been reinstalled.
I also received a complaint from my customers that they are unable to make payments while purchasing. the payment sidebar is loading for a long time.
I have gone to your sites checkout page and I am unable to replicate this issue, as the payment sidebar loads within 2-3 seconds. Also, I did try this on various browsers (Safari, Chrome, and Firefox) and they all produced the same results:

Are you able to replicate this issue on your end? Also, does this occur with all customers, or only a few?
If the latter, it may be helpful to try and see if there are any similarities between these customers experiencing this issue, such as which browser they are using, their current browser version, specific products being purchased, etc.
Cheers!
Hi, I just fixed all of the issues this morning. The problem was with the update of WordPress itself. I’m not sure if it makes sense, but when I reinstalled the WordPress update all the issues were gone. Product variations, 500 internal errors, and product purchase loading issues all at once. Thank you so much for the help. I deeply appreciate it.
Hi, again I’m sorry to inform you that the problem is back again and I do not understand how can it return. The issue was gone after I reupdate the WordPress, But a few moments ago when I tried to upload a product I couldn’t do it. I got 500 internal error. All the other issues are also back with it as well. If I try to visit the website from Google search results either I get This page cannot be opened or get redirected to another domain. I’m really confused now. I’m really sorry for the confusion but can you guys help me to find the solution?

Hello @testkid and thank you for reaching back, as the issue reappeared.
In the site’s System Status Report (SSR) I noticed that
PHP Version: 8.1.19.As a guide, we recommend PHP version 7.4 and up to version 8.0 (for PHP 8.1, please note that there is an issue documented on GitHub).
For further details, feel free to review the WooCommerce Server Recommendations (directly linked here).
Could you change the PHP version to one of the recommended ones and see if the issue persists? Thanks!
