    Hi from Vienna,

this plugin works fine also with tax calculation for me, as long as I enter full numbers (1 / 2 /3…)
But I want to setup a fixed charge of 1.6666 so the chrage including tax is 2.00 (also tried to enter 1.6 / 1,6 / 1.66 / 1,66…)
After saving the fixed charge field is empty again.

I also tried to enter 2,00 and checked the option “The payment fee is inclusive of taxes.”, but then it shows only 1,20 as fixed charge in the frontend!
Also tried to remove reduced and zero rate tax classes in woo options, so there is only one tax class of 20% left, but there is still 1,20 at the frontend 🙁

    I’m using v1.3.0

    Any Ideas?

    Thank you
    Tom

    Hi Tom,

the additional fee is always displayed according to woocommerce tax display settings. You won’t get it to display EU 2,00 inc. tax if “Display prices during cart/checkout:” says “Excluding tax”.

Anyway: entering 2,00, having a tax rate of 20% and then getting 1,20 as a result is pretty strange. I checked this on my local install, but everything looks good – I get 1,67 excl. tax as expected.

I have no Idea what’s going wrong on your site. Maybe some other plugins going mad..?

    regards,

    Hi Jörn,

you’re allright, there is the plugin “Woocommerce Advanced Free Shipping” which I use. When deactivating it, the fixed charge is displayed correctly 🙁
Could not find yet an alternative free shipping plugin that works according to my needs (3 Groups of Contries Austria / Germany / and other EU-Countries with different min shop total limits for free shipping).

But still I cannot enter the fixed charge with coma (1,6666 or 1.6666), after saving it remains empty.

    Thanks for help

UPDATE: it definitely interfere with this plugin: Flat Rate per Country/Region for WooCommerce
    OLD:
Oups – sorry, I was wrong.
    Did not help.
But I see a strange behaviour, when turn off/on the option to get the shipping calulation in the cart page. during loading the cart page the fixed charge is showing 2,00, then in the shipping part the ajax driven calculator starts to work and then it switches to 1,20 again.
hope, you know what I mean.
tried to deactivate all plugins and turn them on step by step.
But it seems to have the trouble with theses combinations: shipping calculation on cart page setting | advanced free shipping plugin | Flat Rate per Country/Region for WooCommerce plugin.

    Any further ideas?
    Thank you
    Tom

Hmmmm … to come up with a result, we should stop plain guessing now…
Would you mind to send me screenshots of all your relevant settings?
    – A list of activated plugins plus version numbers (if not already done, please update them and have a look if the error still occurs)
    – Shipping, tax and payment setup.
    – Which theme are you using? Does it override the woocommerce templates? (This will be true if a directory named ‘woocommerce/’ lives inside the theme).
