# Cannot embed videos

 * Hi I’ve tried embedding a video file the following way:
 * <div align=center>
    <embed src=”[http://ilaughdev/videos/YR_promo.mp4&#8243](http://ilaughdev/videos/YR_promo.mp4&#8243);
   width=”400″ height=”300″ autoplay=”false” controller=”true” loop=”false” ></embed
   > </div>
 * However, whenever I try putting this HTML code in a post or a Page and save it,
   everything between the <div> tags disappear. Can anyone tell me what’s going 
   on?

 * Have you turned off the wysiwyg editor? If not you won’t be able to simply paste
   in the html that youtube or any of the other sites give you. I have it working
   on both of my sites:
