# cannot edit pages

 * Hi,
    a few days ago I installed my first WordPress domain. Almost everything 
   was ok. I created some pages, downloaded pictures, and wanted to add SEO plugin.
   Here the problem started. I couldn’t turn on the plugin and use it. There was“
   500 Internal Server Error”. My server helpdesk suggested changing settings in
   PHP. I changed it to 5.3 and turned on Magic Quotes function. The pluggin was
   fixed, but I couldn’t edit any pages. I reinstalled WordPress, cleaned cache,
   changed theme, turned off plugins. It’s still wrong. I cannot put anything in
   writing window. I will be grateful for any help.

 * Start from uninstalling that plugin and putting your PHP back to version it had,
   and even better, if you have an option to PHP 7.0.

 * Plugin is uninstalled, php 5.6.30 is on (it’s the version I first started to 
   worked with). But it’s still wrong unfortunatelly…

 * Yes, it’s off.
    It’s better now, because personalization is working (earlier 
   it was broken, too). But I still cannot edit any page.

 * Hi again.
    Editing page is working, fortunatelly. I changed Chrome to Firefox.
   And it helped. Thank you for your support.

 * You’re welcome. Now you can continue working where you stopped, and if I may 
   suggest SEO plugin, either Go for Yoast or All In one SEO. Whichever you like
   better.
